Orange Carrot and Ginger Juice

Orange carrot and ginger juice is a great way to get all those immune boosting vitamins and antioxidants into your system.  It is alway better to eat fruit whole to absorb all the nutrients that the food has to offer.  However, juicing can take pressure off of the digestive system giving you all the goodness you need in one hit.
This juice is packed with vitamin C and A and antioxidants.  As well as supporting immune function, it helps reduce inflammation and boost the body’s response to using fat as fuel.  It also produces collagen which supports connective tissue health and helps protect eye and bone health

Ingredients
  

  • 7 Oranges (Medium Size)
  • 4 Carrots
  • 3 inch Ginger

Instructions
 

  • Peel the oranges and the ginger and cut the tops off of the carrots.
  • Place what you can in the top of the juicer in the feed tube and put the jug underneath the nozzle.
  • Start the machine and then press the fruit through with the pusher. Re-load when it is empty and until all the fruit has been juiced.
  • Stir the juice in the jug and then pour into a glass.

Notes

Top Tip - Make sure you peel the fruit before juicing as it provides a nicer flavour.
